Fight the Cut in Aid to Catholic Schools

For four decades, New York State has reimbursed Catholic and other nonpublic schools for “mandated services.” This has nothing to do with curriculum. Instead, it covers such state requirements as safety standards, state test proctoring and reporting, etc. Now the state is changing the formula for calculating reimbursements in a way that will mean cuts to our schools, even as publics and charters get ever more money. Take action below by sending the prewritten email message or tweet to your elected officials rejecting cuts for mandated services reimbursement.
